OHB’s Space Systems

OHB develops and builds satellites and spacecraft for the entire spectrum of modern space missions. The product portfolio ranges from microsatellites to 5-tonne geostationary satellites for navigation, telecommunications, and Earth observation. Airbus’ Bartholomeo

In partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA), Airbus now offers a complete service that makes operating a payload in low-Earth orbit as easy (and also affordable!) as never before. Following the successful launch and mechanical installations last year, just a few circuits remain to be connected before the new Bartolomeo platform is ready to host payloads in low-Earth orbit.

A very high specific surface area coating is created with a tightly controlled morphology to produce a very low reflectance level.

The SSMS Dispenser is the European rideshare opportunity for worldwide customers, developed by SAB Aerospace with ESA (European Space Agency) funds and based on a modular dispenser designed for both the Avio’s Vega launchers.




Alpha Data Parallel Systems’ high-speed 3D ray casting

D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier is a space vehicle that can transport satellites in orbit and release them individually into distinct orbital slots, reducing the time from launch to operations by up to 85% and the launch costs of an entire satellite constellation by up to 40%. ION can also accommodate multiple third-party payloads like innovative technologies developed by start-ups, experiments from research entities, and instruments from traditional space companies requiring a test in orbit.




Exolaunch's newest product is a shock-free separation system CarboNIX available in 8", 15", 24" and custom sizes to launch 10-400 kg microsatellites on any launch vehicle. CarboNIXes have successfully deployed dozens of microsats for the leading smallsat constellation customers. A unique synchronous spring pusher system of CarboNIX separates satellites smoothly and evenly, without unwanted shocks or tumbling, making it the lowest-shock and lowest-tumbling separation system ever used in space. Lightweight and compact CarboNIX offers a zero-shock deployment, fast reset time (within minutes), ITAR-free nature, and solid flight heritage to deploy a single microsat and microsat constellations into space. Other products include the EXOpod, a cubesat deployer, to separate cubesats up to 16U and Reliant, an orbital transfer vehicle, to launch satellite constellations to custom destinations and tackle space debris.



Fraunhofer Space Alliance

Fraunhofer’s t 37 (MultiSat): A multifunctional sandwich panel developed by Fraunhofer LBF and RWTH Aachen combines structural and non-structural functions of a satellite. The presented panel is equipped with piezoelectric actuators, flat cables and optical fibres for vibration reduction, energy and data transfer. The host materials employ heat transfer, radiation shielding and impact protection functions.




The success of any space mission begins with reliable data transmission and Glenair’s Spacewire cables, built to meet the strict standards set forth by ECSS-E-ST-50-12C make this a reality. Glenair’s Spacewire cables offer bidirectional, high speed data transmission rates up to 400 Mbits/s while significantly reducing cross talk, skew, and signal attenuation. By incorporating a serial, point-to-point cable, with low voltage differential signalling (LVDS) reduced costs are realised through an easily integrated data transmission cable. These features allow Spacewire cables to be incorporated across various satellite data transmission programs without the expense of costly design customisation.

Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) is the leading provider of Ground Network Services and Earth Observation Services. KSAT owns and operates a ground station network of both polar and mid-latitude stations, that provides you with access to your spacecraft. The company handles 75 000+ passes per month and has expanded its existing ground network of over 250 antennas across 25 sites. KSATlite is their cost-efficient, standardised service, providing reliable and secure on-demand access to a network optimised for small satellites and easy constellation management. KSAT are expanding their network rapidly adding 34 new antennas on several new locations in 2021. KSAT are currently supporting more than 45 000 passes monthly on the lite network.



Morpheus Space

NanoFEEP: Morpheus Space developed the technology of the propulsion system during many years of research at the Institute of Aerospace Engineering of TU Dresden. At its core lies the FEEP technology specially developed for miniaturised applications using the low-melting metallic gallium propellant, as well as a chip-based neutraliser with the corresponding supply and control electronics. All the system’s components are optimised to deliver the best propulsion performance for the least amount of space, mass, and necessary electrical power, which are the most valuable commodities on board of a nanosatellite. Due to the system’s plug-and-play nature, the integration into a satellite platform is easy and highly customisable in order to fulfil the propulsion requirements of almost all low Earth orbit missions.

Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) was founded in 2018 with the goal of providing frequent and affordable access to space to better understand and protect our Earth. That's why Rocket Factory Augsburg builds the most performant and affordable micro launcher for payloads up to 1,300 kg. Their staged combustion engine is more efficient and performant than conventional engine cycles, resulting in 30% more payload at unmatched prices. Their orbital stage with orbital manoeuvrability offers a last-mile-delivery, while their serial production maximises cost advantages and allows them to build rockets just like cars.




Standex Engineering Technologies Group and its Spincraft businesses leverage advanced metal forming technologies and deep industry experience to design and manufacture cost-effective solutions for customers on their most complex designs. Spincraft’s solutions can decrease part count, eliminate welds and reduce weight which are critical requirements within the space systems market.
