Space Tech Expo USA Opens Next Week
Sister show in the US – Space Tech Expo USA opens to thousands of space tech industry representatives from around the world for an exciting three days of exhibition and activity at this vast, free-to-attend expo for the space and defense sector.
Taking place next week (May 23-25, 2017), Space Tech Expo is designed to assist commercial, military, government, and academic organizations in discovering the latest innovations and technology and navigating new business opportunities. People from all spheres of the sector attend, from industry leaders through to decision makers, engineers, and buyers, all of whom arrive to meet manufacturers and share experiences and ideas with their peers from across the space tech supply chain.
Now in its sixth year, the event is established and comprehensive, showcasing the very latest products and technology from technical designers, sub-systems suppliers, and manufacturers that serve the civil, military, and commercial space sectors. More than 250 exhibitors will showcase their products to almost 4,000 attendees – the highest visitor count for this annual event to date.
Your free-of-charge visitor hall pass gives access to all three days of the trade show, where major industry players such as JPL, NASA AFRC, and International Rectifier will display their industry solutions. Space Tech Expo grows bigger and better with each passing year, and the 2017 event promises groundbreaking technology, engaging presentations, and exciting innovation. On the exhibit floor will be a huge range of products and solutions from some of the most recognizable names in the industry. 3D Plus USA is set to showcase its full line-up of radiation-tolerant products; DEWESoft will display its data acquisition instruments; GoEngineer is ready to impress with its best-in-class design solutions; Integra Technologies will demonstrate customization of its pallets and transistors; while Leybold USA Inc will be showcasing its COOLVAC line of refrigerator cryo pumps. At no other industry event will you find such a vast spread of technology, products, and ideas from across the space tech spectrum.
Also included in your free pass is access to the Open Tech Forum, a series of free sessions taking place over all three days where companies including Northrop Grumman, Caltech, and Aerojet Rocketdyne will deliver talks and presentations on aerospace manufacturing and design, thermal management, electronics, testing innovations, and much more. Over the course of the forum, experts will tackle a range of subjects including the use of independent test labs for qualification testing; advanced resistive technologies for space; solutions and trends in reliable thermal management for satellites; initiatives for optimizing micro and nano propulsion systems; how to utilize the digital thread in the space industry; and an in-depth look at the new US Air Force Commercialization Readiness Program.
Also, returning to the Open Tech Forum is our popular Gov/Mil/Primes requirements day returns, giving visitors a fantastic opportunity to find out how to work with the government and military sector, as well as be given the invaluable chance to network with organizations that are usually off radar.
For those especially interested in being part of high-level discussions on the industry’s most prominent issues, a paid-for conference track runs alongside the main exhibition. Panels will feature an impressive line-up of presenters and speakers from companies including Accion, Airbus Safran Launchers, FAA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, SSL, NASA, AIA, HawkEye 360, LM Ventures, Phase Four, and Arkisys, among many others.
