Mynaric (formerly Vialight) provides laser communication technologies suitable to establish backbone communication networks in the air and in space. Its products include ground stations and laser terminals for aircraft, stratospheric platforms and LEO satellites, which allow wireless communication across vast distances and data rates of currently up to 10 Gbps.

They have been making a name for themselves on the market with a creative and business approach for 33 years particularly in their core business comprising of low-orbiting and geostationary satellites. They are developing and executing some of the key projects of our times such as the Galileo navigation satellites, the SARah space-based radarreconnaissance system, the MTG meteorological satellites, the EnMAP environment satellite, the TET-1 technology testing vehicle and the HispaSat, ELECTRA and EDRS-C telecommunications satellites.
